Bad Liebenwerda has a new symbol: it has been on show in front of the Robert Reiss High School for people to admire since Saturday 22 November. A column of the company founder and benefactor of the city - Robert Reiss - was unveiled in Bad Liebenwerda on Saturday 22 November 2008 in front of the mayor and city council, the REISS office furniture management and many parents and students. Someone who played a particular role in this was CEO Dietmar Menzel, who represents both the artistic and technical realisation. The students of Robert Reiss High School were similarly excited to show what they can do, presenting their proficiency in the individual class levels in an extensive display of diverse exhibits. This once again impressed all those present, particularly REISS CEO Hans-Georg Wiegand: "I’m definitely not worried about filling the training spots offered by our company with local inquisitive youths." Robert Reiss could not have put it better.
