140 years of REISS – innovative ideas that change the working world shape the history of the company from Bad Liebenwerda. REISS Büromöbel GmbH opens the anniversary year with the new REISS Trailo® office desk range and consistently continues the path of modernisation it embarked on seven years ago. REISS Trailo® adds design products to the REISS portfolio and represents a clear contrast to other REISS office desk programmes. In collaboration with the Studio for Industrial Design LÄUFER & KEICHEL, Berlin, a product has been created which meets high design standards and impresses with functional ingenuity. The innovative construction design allows the derivation of a versatile office desk programme that meets the requirements of modern working environments with harmonious shapes, the use of natural materials such as wood, Formfleece as well as warm colours. In addition, it allows for the novelty of extending a desk with movable add-ons. The basis for this is the REISS Schiene® (rail), a proprietary frame construction that can be used to attach a trolley to the table. This trolley can be moved in the rail and supports attachments such as acoustic baffles or a tray for document storage. Users can position these extensions freely at any time.

New to the REISS product portfolio with REISS Trailo® are high tables for the central zone of the office and tables that are specifically designed for the requirements of the home office. “With REISS Trailo®, we have been working towards closing the gaps in our portfolio and meeting the requirements of the modern working world from the very beginning. In addition to tables that also enable ergonomic working at home while integrating well into living spaces, this also includes high tables for meeting spaces in modern office landscapes, as well as large bench solutions for team workplaces,” says Gerd Widule, one of the two managing directors of REISS Büromöbel GmbH. “With the REISS Trailo® product design, we have made a deliberate decision to take a new path, one that we will continue to pursue consistently in the future. A complementary line to our existing programmes,” he adds.
In addition to its design and mobile extendibility, the programme convinces with functional add-ons that significantly simplify organisation at the table. Thus, the acoustic baffles can be equipped with an additional compartment for office aids or a holder for the headset.

The expansion of the portfolio is the next step in the company’s further development. The expansion and continuous modernisation of the system landscape and production as well as the brand relaunch are now followed by new products that are unique in their functionality. This is intended to further strengthen the company’s position for the future.
